Everywomannews: Michele Weldon’s new book is “Everyman News: The Changing American Front Page.” Her blog is intended to be a discussion of the portrayal of women in news, as well as issues relating to women and journalism from content and style to sourcing and images.

Feministing: JAWdesses Ann Friedman, Courtney Martin and others contribute to this blog by young women. “We view Feministing as a platform for not only discussion among feminists and allies, but for reaching (rational, not hateful) people who may not agree with every word we write.”

Fishspew: Spew from a middle-aged broad (and journalist) Sandra Fish.

A Fly on the Wall: Based in Portland, Ore., Catherine Cole’s site focusing on literary non-fiction writing that explores food, media, place, and living whole heartedly in a modern world.

Girldrive: Based on the book of the same name co-authored by Jawdess Nona Willis Aronowitz, this site keeps a finger on the pulse of young feminism by spotlighting the opinions and activism of women, blogs and orgs across the country. It also provides commentary on issues and news affecting young women and feminists.

Glamocracy: JAWS member Linda Kramer, Washington Editor for Glamour magazine, coordinates this political blog for young women; it’s written by five women from across the political spectrum.

Healing Combat Trauma: Lily Casura’s blog focuses on “effective medical, psychological and legal care, and the slant is apolitical.”

Latina Voices: Stories by or about Latina women in the U.S. Promoting the next generation of Latina writers. Edited by JAWS member Teresa Puente.

Lynn Sweet: Lynn tracks President Obama, Illinois and all things political on her Sun-Times blog.

Media Report to Women: Media Report to Women has been reporting on the interaction between women and media since 1972. JAWS member Sheila Gibbons is the editor of the organization’s quarterly newsletter and is now blogging.
