JAWS Conference And Mentoring Project  2011

JAWS CAMP 2011 will be a three-track program.  Attendees can pick and choose among all three and explore these significant areas:

• Building your brand and your career: Focus on skills development with an emphasis on building your brand, and the future of publishing.

• The issues of our day: In light of the Lara Logan story we will look at the risks and benefits of women covering war and the military, including not only women reporting but also women serving in the military and setting policy.

• The art of audio and telling stories: The age of digital media has resurrected a need for good writing for radio and online audio.  We’ll be sharing pointers and insights on how to do it better.

Your registration of $265 includes all panels and events except the II Can Do It!” training, as well as the following meals:  Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast and dinner. See hotel information below.
