The Journalism & Women Symposium is excited to welcome 10 fellowship winners to our 2013 JAWS Conference and Mentoring Project in Essex, Vermont (near Burlington) from October 25 – 27.

We raise money each year to support our fellowship program, giving women who are just starting their careers an opportunity to meet some of our trailblazers, feel inspired by learning new skills and also share their energy and enthusiasm with the group.

We are delighted to report that CAMP registrations are pouring in!

However, that also means that rooms at the Essex are sold out!

I’ve contracted with the Marriott Courtyard (just five miles and less then 20 minutes from the Essex) to offer JAWS members a king studio suite with one king bed and a pull-out sofa for $129 per night Oct. 25 – 27. There is a two night minimum stay required to get this rate and it does not include the Marriott breakfast (but that’s okay because you’ll have breakfast at the Essex as part of your CAMP registration).

JAWS has cooked up an amazing weekend of inspiring speakers, valuable training and educational panels — the only ingredient left to add is YOU!

Sign up for three days of professional development, networking and mentoring in a unique setting. We’ll be taking advantage of the special features at the Essex, which means lots of yummy offerings to go with this power packed program.
