Juanita Islas is is Director of Programs at the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF). She oversees the organization’s global fellowships, grant-making initiatives, safety trainings and emergency funds. She also supports the work of the Coalition Against Online Violence—a global alliance of organizations addressing digital attacks on journalists.

Abigail LP is the program director for digital security at the Freedom of the Press Foundation. Their background includes grassroots fundraising, facilitation and communications. They are also an artist, educator and community organizer.

Jen Nelson is director journalist support and pre-publication review for the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. She holds a law degree from the University of Virginia and delivered legal training to more than 700 journalists in 2024.
