Nominations open for JAWS board positions

If you’re interested in joining the JAWS board, or you know someone you think would make a great board member, please send names to the Elections Committee by completing this form. The deadline is Aug. 29.

The committee will then send a brief questionnaire to nominees to gather more information. The list of nominees will be presented to members for electronic voting by Sept. 15. Once nominees’ applications are reviewed and candidates are selected, per our bylaws, the new 2023-2024 board will be announced during our general membership meeting at CAMP (Oct. 13-15).

We have six open seats to fill:

  • Secretary (2-year term)

  • Deputy Vice President (1-year term)

  • 4 Director seats (2-year terms)
